Egomania

Stiff as oak, you are.

These cries of mine,
Delicate, tugging at your jean hems,
Hailing your heed...

Again, they bounce
Serenely off of your
Dormant sympathy.

Toink!

Author notes

This is just how I feel sometimes around some of the really vain people I know.  I didn't take it very seriously.

Oh, my! Comments everywhere! You're so sweet! Thank you for all of them. I've never done a collaboration poem before, let alone with someone online. Is it difficult? I can be slow and fussy with my poetry... I'm not sure I'd be a very good partner, but I'm up for it if you really want to .
