A Man Called Hugh

Missing image
A Man Called Hugh

Hope and goodness in his heart
Unstopable with his words and rhyme
Genteel, kindly, a servant of God
Historian, poetic teller of times long past

Wisdom is his to share with all
Young at heart, teaching with rhyme
Lovingly forming his own private harem
Endearing, he favors us with words so true
Sincere in his heart and his faith

……This is the man called Hugh

Thank you for your read and comment on my poem, ohthegreatone. And yes, I do admire Hugh, both for his poetry and himself personally, a truly good man. We've been friends since he first joined allpoetry a couple of years ago. I was a Greeter at the time and I happened to be the who welcomed him. We've been great friends since and he has quite a following. A wonderful poet, a pleasure to read and to know.

And yep, he likes his Scotch

    Thanks again

    Dee

    Dear Dee,
I have put your acrostic on my Author's Page. I hope you don't mind.
Thankyou so much. Cheered me up no end.
Joan and my Sister Joy are both unwell and Edna had a fall and hurt her back so your poem was very timely for me.
    Love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

Thank you, ille. I don't know if you've read any of Hugh's poetry but he's a brilliant writer and wonderful friend. He and I are working on a collaboration so hope you'll watch for it. It should be posted in a day or so I think.

I've missed you, too.... I hope all is well with you and yours. I think we both have some catching up to do

    Love and
    Dee
