The warm sun trying to blaze through the blinds
As the cool air in the lounge room feel is unkind
But still there is anticipation
The day is new and fresh
All dark clouds have been gently blown away
There is a feel, tranquil and warm here today
The week end, the new friend has been found
Time to be home, time to free roam by the stream
There is a new glistening from the ripples it seems
As the blanket unfolds and the warm air now holds us
At peace.
A large glass of cool wine coats blue cheese
The rapture of laughter on the breeze.
Life's once again good.....

AMAZING
It's time to say goodbye to you
Not quite a friend, but still I'm blue
Your passing came as quite a blow
We exchanged the odd and friendly mo'
This side to you I did not share
And so I joined the club in despair
Silent now till such a time
I discovered even this pain can rhyme
And thru these words which seem to flow
My heart can heal, I'll let you go
Terry, a humour you did not lack
May the coffee up there be strong and black
In memory of Terry, security dude LEGEND and silent poet to many. Julie (today I was inspired to write this after reading my girlfriend's poetry). Terry was such a warm spirited and friendly being. He was a pleasure to know and obviously a very talented poet. RIP Terry.....

It's been quite while since dad's passing, and it's great to read his work on AP, and here your appreciation for him. Thanks Adam
