Always rejoice, rejoice in our dear Lord
let your gentleness always be seen by all
do not worry for the Lord is always near by
pray to God for all your requests big or small
God's peace goes beyond all understanding,
protecting your heart and mind in Jesus Christ,
brothers what is true, noble, pure and right
if it is praiseworthy do not think it trite
What ever you have seen or heard me speak
or what you have learned or received from me
if you put all these things in practice each day
the good Lord will fill your life peacefully
I have learned to be content with very little
and the secret to be content with every situation
knowing what it is to have plenty or be in need
whether I be well fed or the edge of starvation
I have been content with a life of plenty or want
with God's strength I have learned to endure
my faith in our Lord and Savior sees me through
with His love very little seems like so much more

Very few people say the last lines and this is the beauty of a person that you are apart from the wonderful poet and the poem actually makes me rejoice at the Lord's existence..superb prayer..cheers

This is so true. When you have the Lord Jesus Christ in your life you don't need a lot for yourself.... you are much happier when you can share all that you have with others. Great write Sandy. Well done.
