For every tear I haven't cried.
I'm telling you the truth now,
I'm the one who hasn't lied.
Maybe it's just different,
Maybe I'm the one who cannot see.
But when you promised me forever,
It actually meant something to me.
And I'm going to be selfish,
I'm going to wish that you were mine.
I just thought I'd tell you now,
I'm really NOT doing fine.
It's not the days that matter,
Because I'm counting by each heartbeat.
And with everyone that's without you,
I feel more and more incomplete.
There's a piece of my heart missing,
Though I can't say I need it now.
Because it allows me to love,
But if it's not you, then how?
How am I to move on,
If my heart belongs to you?
How did I fall so quickly,
If your love was so untrue?
I don't expect an answer,
Stay quiet, just like me.
And as for my emotions.
I'm not expecting you to agree.

i'm used to more angry, kill-em-all poems, but i enjoyed yours.. it's short and to the point and lets the reader know what your point is.. eeexcellent
