Queen of Kangarooz

I am Jennifer Queen of all the Australian Kangarooz
those silly rooz they can't resist to get on the booze,
Matilda, now she's gotta be the worst of all of them
Oh boy, when she hitz the slosh, complete mayhem.

I tell them to drink Moxie, but do they listen to me? NO!
And as for Rupert, he's a mean old stubborn Roo! SO!
I tells him "Rupert ya gotta go and take Matilda with you,
"You're disrupting the rest of the Rooz with your brew!"

"Come on now, do as I say! Rupert! stop that! Behave!"
"Leave Matilda alone! No more booze! or the more she'll crave!"
"You'll have King of the Cowz coming after all of us!
Then we'll be in a right Royal mess, so don't cause a fuss!"


Now Penny, in her pouch she haz the cutest little Joey
he sticks his head out, looks around, he's very cheeky.
George, the Daddy hopz over curious to see his offspring
he's lost a leg, a wierd sight, a Roo with one leg hopping!

They can be cute and friendly but beware they can turn,
they kick their back legz, they claw, so you must learn,
never take a Kanga for granted, be on the alert alwayz
never turn your back on them, they can go into quite a craze.

This is for the Group "Drink Moxie And See Yemassee As God"

Since the droughts has hit us here in Australia, the Rooz have been seen in the suburbs, they have attacked and killed dogs, if you see them you stay clear. When they stand on their hind legs they are bigger than a man and their claws can be deadly. OH, and they don't drink booze, I just made that up

    Hey Jenn thats real cute. They would drink beer if they got hold of it I am sure. LOL. They CAN be huge can't they.

    This was great! I love the way it plays with Australian nostalgia and elements that we are 'seen as' having. Well done to piece this write together. The title grabbed my attention immediately. Tony.

    this is just wonderfull .. and funny.. and hilarous.. and gives your wonderful sense as imaganary writer..... the rhyming took the charm.. and everything was all cute ..... on until about that kanga with one leg ..... but yet it was lovely..

    OKAY, thanks Yemm Yes we grew up with Skippy the bush Kangaroo, used to love it never missed it, and it was Australian.

    LOL, I loved it. I always thought kangaroos made great comic subjects. Do you remember a TV show called, "Skippy the Bush kangaroo?" Something like that. I think it was Austrailian though they showed it in the US when I was a kid.

    The Moxie would put those little buggers back on their tails! You are officially, Jennifer, Queen of Kangarooz!
