As time goes on

As time goes on
And days go by
I sit and remember
But then ask Why?

The skies are blue
And the sun is so bright
Yet as time travels
It turns into night

My heart still breaks
My tears still flow
I loved you so much
Why did you have to go?

You left so quickly
With out a word of warning
You were good at night
Then gone in the morning

My eyes still sting
From the tears I shed
I still can’t believer
My dear mother is dead

I see her behind my eyes
I feel her arms around me
I do miss her so much
But at least now she is free

it is hard to type through tears, what a heart felt poem,it really hit home.see....she left you to carry on her memory, remember we are alive till the last person who knows us passes...so forever allow people to know her.....and this poem is just the beginning.......
