Susan you have always been there for me
Through the thick and through the thin
A shoulder for me to cry on and will forever be
Susan you have always been there for me
You constantly remind me, amity is never free
And the world is not always consumed by sin
Susan you have always been there for me
Through the thick and through the thin

I have not told you how dear you are to me lately. I am rereading some of the poems from this contest because I needed a lift tonight.
Thank you for being the wonderfulness that is John!

Touching
This is a nice dedication to your friend. I find that writing things like this allows you to branch out more with your gratitude to them, and gratitude is one of the strongest things that can heal troubles. I think its great that you have written this down in such an eloquent way. I hope your friend will be touched.
Good job.

You are such a sweet man! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful tribute. I had the most fabulous birthday and the poems here and all the warm wishes only served to make it that much better.
I send you hugs and smiles today.

Dear friend, John...
You have hit a home run, again. You always seem to do that and I thank you from the bottem of my heart. Or is the the heart of my bottem. I can never get that straight.
Susan is a dear friend to me, as well as to you. I think to everyone that she touches. I too have cried on her shoulder. She must have tear stained clothes by now.
Cheryl
Cheers!!

Isn't it a wonderful thing how this site brought friendships about that may have never happened otherwise? It sounds like you have a great relationship with Susan (and many others). I think she feels honored by it as much as you feel the same way. Nicely done, Mr Davies

This is beautiful John. I can honestly say that I feel the same way and your admiration for Susan is no surprise to me. Nor is the triolet because I happen to know it was Susan who initially taught you this form and you are particularly fond of it. I do hope our dear friend has the best, blessed day that any one person could ever hope to have. This is wonderful!
