I have water running down my face
I've been trying to get this food to my place.
My kid's will starve if I give up now
I have to get there, I have to get there somehow.
They depend on me to give them what they need
but all I can find is this little bit of bird feed
I crawl up hill as far as I can
just to be hit with someones fan.
I get back up and try picking up what blew away
I need to get to them I hope it's today
I crawl some more I'm a little closer
but then here comes a toaster.
again I pick up what is still there
and began to walk but my health is fair
I walk straight down this big brown thing
oh no!! it was opened with a swing
I hit the ground so hard
all the food looked really far.
I go to pick it up just to start over
I think I'm safe I don't see that toaster
I think I might rest and take a seat
OH SHIT NOT THE FEE...........................

I think this just documents an ant's journey around the home so well and nicely puts out a couple of lessons for humans to digest.Well crafted.

This was quite cute, the times in the life of an ant at your house, if they were at mine, they'd be dead. I hate ants. You have done wonderfully with this lighthearted poem, so creative and humorous. I loved it and really enjoyed reading it. thank you for sharing.
