Once in a lifetime you meet some one so special
they light up your life without even knowing.
A person you can always count on when you need and hug
or someone just to listen.
Someone to laugh with, or cry with, to share a joke,
or even a silent moment of understanding.
Once in a lifetime you meet your soul mate
that missing part of your life you did not even know was gone.
That person who your life would not be complete
if they were not there for phone calls and coffee breaks.
A person who is more then just your best friend,
much appreciated and loved, a piece of the soul.
The one that god somehow forgot the blood ties
to make a part of your family but gave you as a friend.
Once in a lifetime you find that special person
and once you do life is less stressful and a lot brighter.
And as you both grow-up and get your own lives
you still carry that special bond of friendship.
And no matter how long it has been you can always pick up the phone
or walk through the door and be welcome with open arms.
Once in a lifetime you find that person
that is seems God made just to be your friend.
And when you do your life is forever changed
and you thank god for then every single day of your life.

forever and always in My heart I commented on Secret Love I know this doesn't rhyme but I wrote it thinking of my best friend in the whole world who i never see as she lives in a different state
