When the world stops turning
And the sky is no longer full of clouds
When Judgment Day is upon us
Will you be able to stand there proud?
Did you live your life with love and faith?
For everyone that surrounds
Or were you full of hate and bitterness
For all the differences around
When it is your turn to be judged
Can you say you always did your best?
That you were always kind to your fellow men
And did not live in societies little nest
That you did not judge by another’s opinion
Or follow along with all of the rest
Did you live your life with compassion?
Or trample another’s feelings for a jest
When asked can you say you have touched lives
And people of every imaginable kind
Did you live you life the way you saw fit
Or did you let other people make up your mind
Did you look at a person for their heart and soul?
And there see what you would find
Or did you let what they are decide who
Did you never see those invisible lines?
When the time comes can you be proud
Of whom you were and all you ever did
Or will you be ashamed of your life
And the way that it was lived

Very good. A bit of a struggle with meter and rhyme, but the thought is VERY deep and penetrating. We should all do as much good as we can and try to see the good in everything and everyone. Well done love. -
