Its strange how things work out

Its strange how things work out
Or better said, they come un-wound
How your "biggest fan"
Turns you to your great depression
I guess its just another one of those lessons
I should have known

Chorus:
I turned into your demons
I forced you to good reasoning
But you left me stranded
On the highway of self contradictions
This place
You lead me here by hand
Nevertheless you still call yourself my "biggest fan"

Thrown into this fan
Round, around, around
It spins
Cut, cutting, cutting me
To my unlawful state of mind
The blades all so fearful, oh so kind
Why didn't I know?

Chorus

Bridge:
You thought you'd teach me to fear pain
But in reality you taught me to love it more
