Everyday she combs her hair, does her make up, and brushes her teeth.
Leaving her fragrance behind while she jets to work.

Unaware of me near, she falls into her bed- crying, fists of frustration, and anger to herself. She cries for the pain to go away.

Everyday, she puts up with people whining how their life is horrible.
Not one smile is drawn on her face all day.

She curls her hair and dresses up for her 21st year.

Thinking of what she could change

Every night, she sleeps soundly with her pillows all around to cuddle.
I catch a glimpse of the glow and peace in her face.

She tries so hard to make people happy because it brings her joy.
What she doesn't realize is that she doesn't have to do anything, just to get me to smile and appreciate everything of her.
