Bottled Tears

Bottling the tears I cry
Never knowing why
What drove you to these lies?
Can't you see the pain in my eyes?

Shattered dreams and fantasies
You never really wanted me
My eyes are open and now I see
The truth has set me free

You never were anything you claim
To you it was just a game
One in which you hold no shame
One in which you accept no blame

Lie after lie, you continue to play
Not one sorry do you say
For your soul I will pray
And hope that your game ends someday
