Decembers Burning

You gave yourself away,
But what's left is mine to take.
It's hard for me to sympathise,
With the choices that you make.

To see what strangers tasted
Through your mistakes.

If I were to follow the Sun; follow my heart,
Could I run to a day where tomorrow never came?

You'll never pay the price,
For those things you keep inside.
The gates of your disguise,
And the things you try to hide.

Can never be defined,
For someone elses eyes.

If I were to follow the Sun; follow my heart,
Could I run to a day where tomorrow never came?

And in this moment, I feel that I could change the world,
But I have better ways to waste my time.
So let's watch the spaces in between,
As the headlights of a thousand cars go by.

If I were to follow the Sun; follow my heart,
Could I run to a day where tomorrow never came?

These are really good lyrics I can see this working as a song. I love the flow and the rhyme scheme wasn't bad either. very nice work.
