Aphroditie Goddess of love, rules all those who would love.
Mother one who's very nature is love personified.
Gia Goddess of earth,she gives of herself to feed and shelter her children.
Mother one who gives from her body, mind and soul so that her children grow strong.
Athena Goddess of wisdom and Knowledge,guides her people in learning and bettering them selves.
Mother one who gives all her wisdom so that her child might be wiser than she ever was.
Hecate Goddess of mystery and magic,giving magic and all the mysteries of the world.
Mother one who gives life's mysteries to her children while keeping magic in their hearts.
Bast Goddess of protection, she fiercely protective and sheltering of her people.
Mother one who protects her children from all perceived harm with the strength of a lioness.
Isis Goddess of fertility and of mothers, giving her people children and showing them the beauty of all mothers.
Mother one who shares all the beauty of the world with her child.
So many Goddess to show all the faces of a mother. A mother is the world ,stars and all the heavens above to her child. She gives love,understanding and protection to her child, all for the sheer joy of giving.
Mom to this child your name is the name of the greatest of goddess for you give me the greatest of gifts..... you love and cherish me for my self.
To my mother the living goddess of my heart.

My Mother has always been my best friend has always been the one that has been there for me, has picked me up from all of my life's problems, not as a mom but as a true friend.

First off congrats on the gold trophy.I have to say that I truly envy what you have with your mother. I would give anything to have a bond like this with mine. And I really hope that someday my daughter will feel this way about me. (I'm only 19 at the moment with no child, but maybe someday.)

I like this. Mostly I like the thought that a mother will take all she has and pass it on to her children. And that she is always willing to let her children be smarter, prettier, and stronger than they are. There is something amazing about moms.

WOW! This is so beautiful and sounds like it came right out of your soul, your inner being. It seemed that you have attributed all the goodness of each of the Goddesses you mentioned and told your Mom that she is not one single Goddess but a collection of Goddesses all rolled into one person

you have written such a rich poem in praise of the mother-goddess, it is indeed wonderful. masterfully you describe the many faces and names of the divine mother-goddess and in reading it, the reader touches all those divine qualities in him- or herself. your poem is a great tribute to the divine feminin, and a beautiful praise to your own mother and all mothers at the same time. when you say: "To my mother the living goddess of my heart.", it feels like you put all those divine qualities into a huge gift-box and offer it to your beloved mother as a gift of blessings.

A wonderful poem and it's so true as a mom I am a lioness when it comes to my son.I have so much love for him and will do all and anything to protect him.It's just instinct for the most part though I know of some women where they seem not to have maternal connections.Bravo and I loved the way you incorperated goddess into it.Hecate being my fav.Helen
