Always putting on a fake exterior
When the interior is dying

Struggling to keep away from death
Fading into the darkness
Wanting to just give in

Not wanting to live
Not having anything to console me

Carving into my flesh
0ver and over again
But still not fully wanting to die

Small parts still think things will get better
Just waiting for one bright day

But that deadline is drawing near
