if you rely upon the scarlet petals,
which weep from the garden within your soul,
you are to heed the warnings of natures way.
if the winds blow too strongly,
if too many petals were to fall,
your soul will no longer boast the flowers beautiful,
the garden will burden sorrowful wilting flowers,
and the happiness will release from your soul,
it may seem geniune,but it is all too fake,
for when new flowers emerge during calm weather,
and no petals are caused to fall,
your pain will deepen and yet,
again the flowers wilts,
again the petals are lost,
again you risk your life,
for the five minute feeling you wish would last a lifetime.

sure thing...if anyone doesn't want to know the meaning yet...LOOK AWAY NOW!!!!! hehe, ok, well my friend thought it was a poem of a sexual nature, which, it can be if you prefer that meaning. but when i rote it, i imagined the scarlet petals to be the drops of blood, and the phrase ' if the winds blow too strongly' to mean if you harm(cut) too deep. this poem basically explains the feeling you get, if you are in depressed or 'in turmoil' as you may like to put it, and then you self-harm, and feel better, until the pain returns and you have to harm again to feel better, or in the poetic sense,
'again the flowers wilts,
again the petals are lost'

Wow this is beautiful! Flowers can symbolise so much. i love the lines

your soul will no longer boast the flowers beautiful" they set off the most amazing imagery in my mind. The only critism i can give, is that the poem would look better with a capital letter at the beginning of each line. Other than that, its beautiful. Keep up the good work xxx
