There across the room their eyes kept meeting
How the chemistry began to build between them,
An angel they both saw that night from afar
To meet was ever present on each of their minds
Savouring the looks that passed between them.
The road has not been smooth for these two lovers
Happiness was just a whisper away, he had to leave;
Etched in their memories were the times spent together.
Sunset arrived as they met on the beach to be wed
Precious is their love for each other, devoted for life.
Illness has struck but their love remains strong
Reaching out to each other with the love they feel.
I am confident Eris you will get well very soon
To be with your beloved Ken in perfect health.
Eris you are one of our most beautiful Angels
Ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
I only know you briefly through Allpoetry, your
Spirit shines bright to reach the heart of all.

Dear Eris, I am praying and sending Angels to bring you back to good health once more. Words from one of my poems, I hope you find comfort in them.
When you feel a tap on your shoulder
and you find there's no one there.
Just smile, for I am your angel
sent to guide and comfort you,
for by your side I'll be.
Just let my wings enfold you
and keep you safe from harm.
To be your angel on this earth
will be my greatest worth.
for my love for you is true,
So let me take your hand
and never let you go.
Come fly with me my love
up to the skies above.

This worked so well-especially with the acrostic, it made it even more powerful. I really hope that this poem did/will make Eris smile. Beautifully written, I especially loved the line,

I didn't know Kissing-Eris at all but after I read your lovely acrostic, I went to her Author's page and spent half an hour reading abpout her and reading some of her poems which are really good. I think she is very modest about her grasp of English (her third language) because her writing came across to me very clearly. I don't know the nature of her illness and hope it isn't serious but, like my 'flu, somethjing that's bad at the time but will pass.
I applaud your poem and the sentiments which are typical of Angelica and her caring nature.
