Charles
A friend in my heart
he's like a son to me
such a wonderful poet
I have met on allpoetry
As we prayed each day
God bonded us together
a friendship was formed
through stormy weather
He calls on the phone
sings beautiful songs
plays his guitar for me
lets me sing along
This wonderful friend
serves his country too
he soon will be sailing
upon the ocean blue
He is a sailor in the Navy
a true Christian son
he is poet Onfire4Jesus
full of smiles and fun
He calls me his mom
we are also close friends
our friendship will last
till our life on Earth ends

This is written for Charles, an amazing young man who is Onfire4Jesus and loves the Lord more then anyone I know.He is like a son to me and is a part of my family now. A true friend forever that is always there through my
good times and sad times. I feel blessed to have a friend like Charles. God Bless you and thank you for all you have done for me.

This was such a beautiful and fitting tribute to a wonderful person. I love the way you have written this. One thing stood out to me though and I don't mean to be picky. It's the part where you say that your friendship will last till your life on earth is done. It will last longer than that it will last for eternity and you will be singing together in Heaven. I felt this was a beautiful and well written poem that really blesses the heart.

Good friends are rare to find but hey still in the strangest of all places we find them and is up to us to never let go of them keep them close. Be there when they need us. I'm truly glad that u found a good christian friend here in AP both caracteristics are very rare extremely rare !! I loved this poem it was beautiful!!

A Heart is a poem.
It is such a lovely and great write Which brings the flavour of brilliant sacred thoughts which are full of love and respect for a true frined.
