I look to the sky
Seeing the rolling clouds
The stars are shining bright
As bright as Heaven could allow
The crickets softly hum
The trees gently sway
I stop to think and ponder
On another closing day
I think to myself
What a wonderful gift this is
That he is mine
And I am his
We live together
Together as one
Two people in love
When all is said and done
We’ll live in love
True harmony
Forever and always
We will always be
Happy in eternity
Him and me

Hey all!! I wrote this on my way home...It was really pretty out and of course all that first part was going on, so I thought of this and here it is....Sorry this is my first poem in a long, long time....but i'm been writing in my latest novel called Dreams.
