A Flower

You do not belong to the bouquet
among so ordinary flowers,
all in quiet and plain parity.
Be in the hillside, where I scale;
leaning to pick you from the soil,
carefully caressing your petals
to leave you there still, struggling
against the winds who meander,
carrying everywhere your scent,
and my fading memory enlighten
as a smoldering bright light who,
fills me whole and brings serenity,
as  I turn and return to the hillside,
where I can forever retain you intact.

    Very Good!

Very nice; it's sweet without being sappy. I like it.
Did Borges write about flowers too? ; )

Wow, what a lovely piece. Your English is indeed very artful.
I think that this pieve was reverberating with many emotions, love, amazement, beauty, and sensuality. It embodied the deep purity of true affection, and it was a great metaphor.
Beautifully written, perhaps I will have some of my Brazilian friends translate the rest of your works for me
