How It Felt

I saw you today
Riding your bike on the sidewalk
Your shirt blowing against and outlining you tight stomach
Your hair just slightly blowing in the wind

Suddenly all the thoughts of you hit me like a train
All the memories
And definitely all the pain
But something hit me that hadn't before

My love for you

Now i know what love is

Indescribable in words
Irresistible in its thought
Filling in its presence

I don't know what to do about his feeling in the pit of my stomach
I don't know how to handle the moments of sadness without you
I love you!

...i shouldn't though...i have feelings for someone else as well..i love him too..is that possible?...can all this be true?

Very interesting write here. Boy, does this take me back in time! Not to be confused at all, Hon. This is MOST DEFINITELY NOT LOVE! With the finely described detail of this person and his physical attributes, you are in a deep state of LUST here!

Shirt blowing against the outlining of his tight stomach, his hair blowing slightly in the wind. These things overshadowed the hurt that he had once made you feel. Yes, Hon...that is lust!

When you start saying things like, "With one glance, your eyes saw into my heart and your smile warmed my soul; your touch moved me in a way that I've never been moved before". You start thinking and saying these sorts of silly things? THAT'S LOVE! It just can't be explained and believe it or not, it might not even be to someone you would now consider to be 'gorgeous'. Most often, true love does not happen with the 'hottie' on the block. It happens with someone who captures our hearts for completely different reasons. That's why true love happens with maturity.

Best of luck, Sweetie. Good write! It sure took this Old Lady back in time Thanks!
