    excellent

lovely and very symbolic to me. There really isnt too much to say on a single haiku..this is great the way it is, but if you wanted to go more in depth you could make it multiple haikus..great job,

OMG, fantastix is so right about 'The Sound of Music' thing. I love that movie! I love haikus. I have a couple, but they're not that great. This kinda reminds me of the days I use to go fishing at some lake with my mother and my brother. I use to lay on some really big rock and listen to the stream flow over the rocks. I love that natural music. Nice write. :o)

;) I could never get the hang of haikus. One of the best I've read on this site...you have such a way with words to make anything seem so peacful.

The serenity in this reminds me of when Julie Andrews skips rocks in the opening of 'The Sound Of Music'. Beautiful write. :)
