There is so much to do
as I sit here and type,
It doesn't do any good
for me to gripe.
You lay on the couch,
read your paper and snore,
My requests go unnoticed
just like every day before.
They don't make men like they used to
if you ever ask me,
just lazy, couch potatoes
that tell you to let them be.
All the work falls on me
which is so unfair,
we have been over this and over this,
but he just never seems to care.
But now, after today
I have news for my man,
as I hit him in the head
with the frying pan.
Either get off of the couch
and do your share,
or head to Motel 6,
I really don't care.
I told him I refuse
to live like this anymore
and to pack up his stuff
and just hit the door.
My house is now spotless
and the yard looks so nice
His gash is almost healed
as I hand him some ice.

This was very humorous. I have a husband like this so I can relate. I could imagine you whopping him upside the head with the frying pan because that is what I so often fantasize about lol! That's why I don't own a cast iron skillet.
Thank-you for the wonderful entry! -
HA HA I don't beleive you, I know you and if he pissed you off just right you would hit him. LOL. Really I know you wouldn't but I love this poem it is great you really know how to hit the "nail" on the head so to speak. LOL

Thanks!
I appreciate your comment ... I think a skillet was a great invention. lol. Of course, I would never actually hit my hubby with a skillet, but it helped to vent.
