Mother Nature's Flight

Mother Nature's spirit
Flying above the stars
I wonder what she's thinking
When she sees this world of ours

Does she see all the destruct ions
Of her earth's beautiful scene
Does she notice how our people
Are cutting down her trees

Do you think she hears her creatures
Crying in the rain
Because they have no shelter
And many, suffer in pain

Does she see her rivers polluted
So her fishes cannot swim
I wonder what she's thinking
While she's taking this all in

Does she see all the fighting
That is happening in the streets
I bet when she is flying
Mother Nature weeps

She weeps for all the beauty
Of the land she so adored
That men are slowly destroying
Until earth will be no more

Absolutely love the way you've went with your thoughts here. Truly shows you were inspired by the pic and not just writing about it only. A solid piece and a fantastic message as well. I must say this impresses me and of course approaches a subject dear to me, nature and the preservation of it. Excellent piece! Blessings, Gypsy
