~~Vampires Never Cry~~

Missing image
Can you just imagine
A vampire crying tears
Drops before the morn
sliding down translucent cheeks
eyes dark, forlorn~

As they sadly hang their head
droplets of blood a spilling
showing anguish,and great remorse
for all the nights they went killing~

as they howl loudly in despair
over evil they had done
recalling deeds quite selfishly
no thoughts of anyone~

could it be
in the darkened night
they hide a heart in pain
mourning in solitude
for a life
now beyond reclaim?

or maybe...
it's a warning call
to those who get so near
as they reach out to grasp the soul
then draws it oh so near~

if there should sound
woes in the night
a pull within your core
I think it best to search for light
a good precaution for~

We all know by now and sigh
that Vampires never cry~

*sigh* what a wonderfully written piece, my goodness you never cease to amaze me with your very unique perceptions on everything, entertaining the very idea of vampires crying is nothing that even crossed my mind. I'm glad this was written, it was very inspirational, very powerful.

Susan...this was an amazing write! The picture... WOW! Don't know where you found it...but really great!

The idea of vampire tears... so interesting. Do those who have lost their souls realize it...and do they care....and are they capable of feeling enough pain to cause those tears?

    I enjoyed this one...
    Hugs...

absoluteley incredible, imagery, flow, rhyme, meter, intensity, all beautifully executed. This has become one of my favorites. the picture also adds a nice precedent for the text, which is, i will say again, absolutely incredible

This has a very nice flow. The words seem to wend and weave themselves into one. But perhaps a vampire would cry for the loss of light in his life~

Very interesting idea for a poem...does a vampire ever regret the lives he destroys...NO! Really liked this, Sis...Very well done!
