It Was In the Darkest of Nights

It was in the darkest of nights
in the deepest of forests
that I met this angel of the vampires.

She took my hand
and took to flight
and tried to sell me some used tires.

It’s her birthday now
her past has fallen
by the wayside of her yearning desires.

So a birthday wish
to a vampiress angel
would be to walk among the moon and stars!

So be it I wish
to this enigmatic dish
that she move beyond selling her daddy’s used cars.

Happy Birthday, VampiressAngel
from your daddy who is lost
selling jalopies in the canals on the far side of Mars!

    Loved it.

I really enjoyed this. It was whimsical, descriptive, goofy, and unique. I mean that in a good way. I love the picture of "She took my hand, and took to flight, and tried to sell me some used tires." Very enjoyable.
