Long-Lost and Forever Gone

sit beside you in the car,
and we take that slow and steady ride,
to where the destinations are,
i held on tight, and i wished to hide..

I hugged you tight, and said goodbye,
and I saw you walk away,
I never would have known, that goodbye was not a lie,
and then on out, everything would stray..

now you're gone, and not coming back,
and i feel the burden of it all,
i feel like all the time was to lack,
now that you're gone, my spirit is to fall..

I see nothing else, i hear no words,
i just wish you will return,
I act as if it's all okay,
I hope your decision BURNS!

Ya, i miss you, but you left me here,
left me with nothing else,
without a thing I hold so dear,
and i can't rhyme..

I don't care anymore,
you've left everyone back here,
i've lost the one i needed most,
and now i'm here, with all to fear..
