I see her frozen in time.
I hold her gaze carefully.
I''m watching her and reading
deep into her very soul.
Within her is a wild spirit
simply begging to be free.
Innocent brown eyes staring
at me. White flowers peek
from the waves of her long
dark hair. My eyes focus
on what is in her hand
and then she's gone. I've
seen what few can see.
This one is a faerie, waiting
for me to join her.
She is my sister.

A tender poem, very descriptive and I loved the old spelling of the the word faerie. The mystery of what it was she had in her hand, made me wonder. Enjoyed reading this, a gentle poem. Thank you
