Believe In Yourself

Missing image
Let nothing stop you from living your dreams
believe you can, believe anything is possible
for if you do you will appreciate life more.
Think positive thoughts, never give in to despair.
Happiness is yours to hold tenderly in your heart
to nurture, to let it grow without any restrictions.
Live to love, it's the greatest emotion you have,
give of yourself all the love and longing you feel.
Cherish your loved ones, it will be returned tenfold,
to be loved so deeply is not beyond your wildest dream.
Don't ever think, "This is not possible for me."
Believe in it, you can create your own dreams,
you can live them, change your life for the better,
discover the joy, not the despair, only the joy.
Don't dwell on what might have been,
think of what can be, will be.
You have so many wonderful memories to create,
to explore, the future can be a wonderful experience.
Live it now!
Don't leave it until it's too late! Live life now!
You won't regret it.

This is the kind of messsage all should see and realise is what is the truth of life. I hope that it may make people think and make some changes for themselves if needed.

this is a very positive message. I completely agree with you, we can't let life pass by and just watch, we must live life, enjoy the good times and work hard to make the bad times as less as possible.
    Loved the graphic, very inspiring!

    Inspired message

This is a terrific message Joan, and like Hugh I stand by my earlier comment. I particularly note
"Cherish your loved ones, it will be returned tenfold",
that is a lesson of my life, and I am enriched by the affection that I share with my family and friends. It grieves me that I have lost some. However, as you say,
"Don't dwell on what might have been,
think of what can be, will be."
Today is a good day to be reminded of this poem.

    Inspirational.

    Dear Bea,
I can't find anything to say at present better than to repeat the comment I made over three years ago:

This is a message that I hope will be read by many on this site. It is the message of life!
We can choose to live this life in bitterness, hate, self-pity, darkness and despair or we can stand in sunlight with hope, joy, love and faith. We can choose to brood on the dark side of life and the misery or we can gaze at the beauty of the world and contemplate the joy of being alive.
Happiness is not created or found by seeking, it happens within ourselves, involuntarily and unprompted.
Bea, you have given this message in the most inspirational way and shown the power of your positive spirit even while unwell and in hospital where I know you will have brought light to your fellow patients. Applause X 3. Best of luck in the voting.
    Love and hugs, XXX Hugh.

Your wisdom is overwhelming! It makes me stop to think. You sound a lot like my mom (poetryality). She speaks very highly of you so, I decided to come by and take a peek at your writing. This is beautiful and should be read by every young person on this site, and some people not too young. LOL You are a very wise woman. I love first impressions, although I do believe I have read your work in the past. I must say it has been far too long for me to have returned to your poetry. I will come again soon. A wonderful poem filled with eloquent wisdom.

    Blessings,

These are inspiring thoughts, Joan, and I agree! The worst thing in the world is discouragement, we must stay away from people who squash our dreams. We are each full of strength and ability that we are not wholly aware of, and the way to grow into it is to dream and plan to live our dreams.
I'm sorry you've been ill - best wishes for a speedy recovery!

First I'd like to say I'm sorry you were in the hospital and hope that you are Okay. This was beautiful poem filled hope that you were inpired to write while you were there. I also love the picture of the cat looking into the mirror and seeing a lion. It was a great added touch. I just got a new kitten and she thinks she is fierce as a lion herself. A great lesson to be learned.
