These two lines remind me of the song by Rascel Flatts! Did you get it from there??? "God bless the broken road that led me straight to you" is what is says in their song. It's a beautiful song and the words are beautiful too! You did a very good job with this poem and I love those two last lines! They totally fit in perfectly!!!

I'm sorry..its just that this is so beautiful its left me speechless. I usually leave these...long comments. Im gonna try..but this is so hard to..judge! Your rhyming was faultless. I didnt find the tiniest hitch...! I love the rhythm you chose, because it really helps to set the scene, and so do the colors & backround you chose. LIke chanterai said, this probably WOULD make a good song. I did recognize the last two lines, becuase everything I read & LIKE has the last two lines as what my english teach would call "Zingers". SOmething that leaves you with a great impression of what you just read, sums it up, or leaves you wondering. Anyways, I do recognize that song..i love love love it! But...currently cant think of the name & singer. Hmm...
That lines prolly the name..but whatever. I also love these lines..they really stuck out---
