Faerie's Day

Shimmering dew against a morning light
In great contrast to dark of night
Faeries flit from here to there
Bright gossamer wings shine everywhere

With a little twinkle in their eyes
They fly, high up to touch the skies
And when a mortal comes by their ring
They're too slow to see anything

With a little mischief in their smiles
They flit around the Emerald Isles
Causing little mayhem there and here
Not enough to cause much fear

Tiny bodies, thick but oh so frail
Fly through the land with a misty veil
They do their deeds, yes, all but one
To go to sleep, for the day has done

Author notes

I LOVE faeries!
Actually fantasy of any kind is cool.

-puts stick of candy apple in her mouth to type- ^-^ I love it. This is beautiful, and wonderful and brilliant all at once. It flows lovely, and rymes wickedly... and.. I love it. Faeries and Fantasy is so intriguing don't you think?
