In the shadows of every memory; there you and I stand,
Quietly walking alone again; my mind begins to wander,
Gazing to the midnight sky; stars seem not to shine.
Finding myself; I'm thinking about you again,
Hope is lost; Gone from a sudden goodbye.
Leaving; you left without saying goodbye.
Phone calls were not called; letters were not mailed,
You simply washed me away,
As countless nights passed; my pillows were damp.
Countless years passed by;
To hear from you again is only a dream,
While I continue to ask myself repeatedly ‘What happened to you?’
I find myself day by night; walking pass your old house,
Remembering everyday; you and I spent together during the school years,
Only wishing you hadn't slipped away; without even a goodbye.
As years continue on;
A dream to come true; a voice from you is heard,
My repeatedly asked question once and finally answered,
Years of tears and laughter; Smiles and frowns,
A question was asked; a crying smile,
You reply;
As you walk up the aisle in your white dress
There you and I stand; Face to face,
Vow's were made; as I hold your hand, and I do’s were said.
Countless years passed by;
To hear from you again is only a dream,
While I continue to ask myself repeatedly ‘What happened to you?’
I find myself day by night; walking pass your old house,
Remembering everyday; you and I spent together during the school years,
Only wishing you hadn't slipped away; without even a goodbye.
As years continue on;
A dream to come true; a voice from you is heard,

Author notes
This is just a write about hollie and I. We met in sixth grade and she moved. I hadn't heard from her for nearly two years. she made a call -- we've been together, and I plan on being with her forever, even though the two of us have some bumps at times (who doesn't?) the two of us have been in love sense we are 12. I plan to marry her

I really like this work it is very sweet. Hollie is a very lucky gurl. It is cool that you are thinking ahead to your future most guys don't even think about that kinda stuff. Good work keep it up.
