I Fall

Another leaf departs its' tree
And makes its' way to the sea of color
It lands amongst oranges, reds, browns, and greens
And it lands amongst people

My parents and sisters were murdered
Right in front of my young eyes
The men in black left me standing
But not left unharmed

I'm sick to my stomach in shock
I place my fingers on my chest
My fingertips drip liquid scarlet
And I'm alone

The world is losing color
And the wind is losing heat
Like the leaves and like the weather
I fall

oooohhh.. this was hot. I was all up for a nice fall poem until

My parents and sisters were murdered
Right in front of my young eyes
The men in black left me standing
    But not left unharmed

Then it totally got me hooked on wanting to finish.

    Awesome poem!!

    Loved it Ti
