Lost Fight

I got over you today
At least, I think, but
I'm not too sure

I've heard the stories
It heals with time
What liars I know

My heart is still sore
Like it can't stop crying
And I wish it would stop

But no, I still can't
Think of never seeing you
So, I think I'll compromise

I'll close my eyes
And say there's no chance
Of us together

I'll give up the fight
But still will love
The person you are
