How is it possible to love
One person so much?
How can that one person
Save your world with just one touch?
How can you still get butterflies
Even after seven months
When he tells you that he loves
You, “just because”?
How is it possible to not say
A word, but have the deepest
Conversation – all at once?
How can you read his thoughts
Just by looking into his eyes-
The same eyes that dry
Your tears,
And chase away all of your
Deepest fears.
The same eyes that tell you
He loves you without saying
A word.
The same set of eyes that
Say “I want to marry you,
And have a family someday.”
And the same eyes that
Tell you that you’re his only
One.
His only love
His only care
The only one he would
Do anything for
Knowing the same goes for
Him.
He thinks he loves you more,
But in all reality-
That’s impossible.
Because no one can love
Anyone
As much as you love him.
They cant even come close.
You love him so much
That it hurts.
You want to cry when you think
About it.
Because you don’t know
How to show him how much
You care
And what you would do for him.
Cause no words can tell-
How or why
When you lay your head
On his chest
His heartbeat soothes
All your pain-
And you don’t have a worry
In the world,
And nothing else matters
Except that moment,
That one moment where you feel
As safe as you ever
Have, and you feel loved,
And cared for too,
And then he whispers in your ear that
He loves
You so much that you couldn’t under
Stand.
And you laugh
Because he has no idea.
But you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Wow, this is beautiful. I love the flow and the rhythm of it. It was like I could see you sitting next to me and telling me how you feel about this person and I couldn't help but smile. This is a totally captivating piece. It grabbed me from the start and had me hanging on your every word. I'll admit it even left me a little breathless.

This is delightful. You caught all of adolescence and love affairs and how it all is just too important and oh my god. Most of all you did it just right and ended it with the perfect last lines.
I am awed by what you have accomplished here. From "he thinks he loves you more" on I was mesmerized by your words and rythmns. Totally. The section before this, mayhaps could be a few lines shorter. But, the rest is perfect. Love,Tom B. -

Aww! This is so sweet, and you managed to write about a really common topic in a way that wasn't overly cliched. I really love the ending - not only does it tie it together, it's unique and it makes the reader smile because they know exactly what you're talking about. At first I thought that it was too long, and maybe it is, but the more I read it the more I realize that you need a long poem to be able to say everything that you want to about this person. Great job, and keep writing =)
