One Choice

With one choice,
I threw my entire world up into the air,
To my dismay if fell down on my head with a crash,
With shaking hands and a courageous heart I picked up the pieces.
I suppose I should have expected this to happen.
Taking care of myself instead of you  it was bound to happen.
Now my life has taken on another direction.
I wonder where this road will take me?
