Love

The most intense emotion
that knows not right from wrong,
it is sweet and forgiving
but hurts like hell when it's gone.

Don't ever take it for granted
or let it be damaged in any way,
embrace it with the purest intentions
and it will never lead you astray.

For it is a gift like none other
to be shared by only two,
given the time and special care
it will forever belong to you.
