It Will All Be Okay

Sharp yet jagged, precise yet thin
press down deep and I'll slit your skin
you hide me in a box when I'm not being used
by me you seem to be very amused
I'll make the blood spiral down your arm
but it will all be okay, don't be alarmed
just hide the marks I've made on your delicate skin
it will all be okay if your parents don't know
put a wristband over the marks and they'll never be shown
i will make all of the pain inside go away
if you promise to use me at least once a day
drag me against scars that have already set in
if i had lips i would surely grin
i like being used it makes both of us feel great
I'm up for six o'clock tonight, don't be late

The imagery here is wonderful and freaky. This poem sent shivers down my spine. Congratulations on the contest!

This is an amazing poem! It is so sinister, but truely brilliant! The imagery is fantastic! Your persective is incrediable! I will never look at a razor the same way ever again! I would choose my favourite line or stanza, but I cannot! I love the entire poem equally! Thank you so much for entering my contest! An excellent write! Keep them coming!

I really liked the difference you made from most of the cutting styles of writing. The perspective of you being the razor blade was pretty astonishing, and the wording was good. Although, I do feel that the rhymes could have been stronger and made this write to be greater as a whole. But, like I've stated before it's an amazing write already with what you have. The last two lines were my favorite, they stuck out to me and just the whole feel of the razor making planing a time for you to be ready at was a great touch. I really liked this write, and I hope to read more from you soon. Keep writing, -Heather
