On Love

Loving you is the easiest thing I have ever done
But the hardest by far to portray
Somehow trying to let you know
That I love you more everyday
Buying you gifts of fine jewels and wine
Can’t possibly prove anything
But it’s the only way I can think of, my love
To let you know how my heart sings
Arias and operas and choral duets
That never make it out of my chest
Still I continue to try to buy proof
That to know you, I know I am blessed
I know you need nothing to show you my love
Yet still I continue to try
To show you with so many small, little things
That I’ll love you til I die

Author notes

I hope that you can one day find a love like I have in my best friend, Tiffane.  She's my anchor, my hope, my victory, my defeat, and the best thing that God has ever graced me with.

    I love you so much!!!!

This is, by far, the best gift I have ever received! You know that I feel exactly the same and even though we're so far in physical distance, we're always together in our hearts. But there are some days where I don't even know how I'm making it here without you.
