There’s a nursery in heaven
up in the sky
Where St Gerard
teaches Baby Angels to fly.
One bright day
while being taught
a Baby angel had a thought,
she’d seen some clouds
to them she’d stray
bounced up and down
and decided to stay.
Now God he sighed,
”I’ve had enough!
this baby angel
is just too much.
Baby angels are
supposed to fly
But this little lady
refuses to comply.”
After her lessons
a walk she would go
and peep through a cloud
to the earth below.
She saw a woman with lovely hair
And said to herself
“Yes! I want her.”
She ran to God with
her wish to declare,
and showed him the pretty woman
With lovely hair.
“Can I look like that, have the same hair,
can she be my Mummy?
I’ll love her I swear.”
Now God he thought long
then gave into defeat
and sent this little Angel
to her Mummy to meet.
Dedicated to all unmarried mother’s
Who where presented with a gift from above.
And remember...The child chooses the parent!
