Only In America

Missing image
Old Glory

Take time, salute our flag
Have pride in our country
Exercise your right to vote

Remember fallen heroes
Everyday give thanks
Democracy at it's best

We the people united
Home of the brave
In God we trust
Truth and justice
Embroidered with stars

America the beautiful
Nation under God
Diplomacy flying high

Blowing in the wind
Love your neighbor
United we stand
Emblem for freedom

Very creative! Acrostic poems are neat, and this one was well written. I liked the Diplomacy flying high line...reminds me that there is so many facets of national power, and honors the flag.

Very well written. Love the fact that it is an acrostic. Very very impressive. As for the content...well I admire it. Shows great pride and support for your country.
I'm Irish so its more difficult for me to understand. I was born on the 4th of July but I don't know much about it but this contest has been an education.
