The Ideal Child

In her ideal world
A picture perfect girl
She had good grades
A big wide smile
I remember because it kept me laughing for a while
Almost like an ideal child
But behind closed doors
And in locked up drawers
A different world lay --
full of --
Horrers
Sealed secrets of abuse
A child forever lost
Who had no chance but to choose
A meeting with death
And risk to lose
Her very life
Her perfect world
Give it all up
Just to break free
Of lies and naked photoes
Hidden where no one could see
Her parents walked in
And were shocked to find
Their daughter locked up in a room
The chamber that hid her secrets
And sealed her doom
Broke down the door
And found a rope
Just long enough to choke
The ideal girl
Hanging from the ceiling
At last her silence
Broke

  • Very Dark

This hits home for me since my sisters close friend blew his brains out in his moms room on her bed over being rejected by a girl.

Thanks It's actually about a girl who was sexually abused, and the photoes and stuff that were in her drawers reminded her of that dark time in her life
