I know that i'm lucky
to have someone like him
who will always love me
just because i'm aly
for him i don't have to try
to be someone i'm not
cuz i know it' s not a lie
when he says i love you

he'll hold me when i'm scared
make me smile when i cry
i feel safe when i'm with him
if i lost him i'd die
he knows i'm not clingy
and sometimes i need space
but he'd never leave me
for spitting in his face
i won't dress up like barbie
every time we go out
cuz how i look and dress
isn't what i'm about
he knows i'm gorgeous
even when i'm in sweats
that's why there's still an "us"
