Some of us still care...
Ive seen your sadness
That brings out your depresive stains
Its a slow decaying madness
Wrapping us up in its chains...
My heart goes out to you
And i hope this does the trick
Ill hold these blues for you
Until they leave me sick...
Give me your burdens
Let me feel the pain
I live to give them the same stains
With the words of love and comfort.....
Let me hold your sorrows
I will keep them as a beggers borrow
And turn them back into words of love by tomorrow....
And when your looking back at the man up stairs
Try and remember some of us still care......
Author notes
This was written for a fellow poet
Who needs a happy end
I wrote this for you
Hope this does the trick... some of us still care....

Thank you so much
It really does make a difference to know people still care and sometimes the kindest words come from strangers. I may even post this on my author page (if that's ok with you of course) and of course will check in on the rest of your poems as you seem to have a beautiful way with words.
thank you again.
with love

This is beautiful. The poet that you wrote this for is very lucky to have a friend like you:
Give me your burdens
Let me feel the pain
I live to give them the same stains
With the words of love and comfort.....
Let me hold your sorrows
I will keep them as a beggers borrow
And turn them back into words of love by tomorrow....
And when your looking back at the man up stairs
Try and remember some of us still care......
This is absolutely beautiful. It is so awesome. GREAT JOB with this and I hope that your friend feels much better.
