A Little wood coffin covered with bows
And little blue flowers lined up in rows,
Daddy and Grandad carry you there,
To lay you in the ground with tender loving care,
Mummy and Granny watch with great sorrow,
Knowing for their tiny hero there will be no tomorrow,
Your favorite teddy is placed by your side,
And you lay there, your body all less than life,
But mummy just tells herself that your just asleep,
But then with realisation she starts to weep,
She weeps for her solider, her wee tiny man,
Who never had the chance to do all he can,
She crys away all of her tears,
for her baby who was taken premature of his years
her tiny little bundle is sent to above
carried to heaven on the wings of her love
but back on the ground
his family crowds round
to bid goodbye to the baby who no longer cries
who never again will open his eyes

Could use some editing, but overall, this is a fine poem. You've dealt with a subject that is omnipresent in this world, and you've carried the personal over to the universal very well. All in all, good job.
