Destroyed

I hold the sun in my hand
The light shines through my fingers
I can feel it burning even
The moon's glow still lingers

I cradle the moon to sleep
On my shoulder
But when I put it away
The world seems colder

The stars adorn my crown of hair
And dance until they tire
Then they jump into the sky
My little lights of fire

The world was good
And would never lack
But it was destroyed
And I can't look back
