Revelations 12(The Woman And The Dragon)

A wondrous sign appeared in Heaven, a woman
the moon under her feet and clothed by the sun
and a crown of twelve stars upon her head
pregnant, she cried out for her birth had begun

Another sign, an enormous red dragon appeared
the dragon had seven heads and ten horns to see
there were seven crowns on each of his heads
he flung his tail into the stars most violently

His tail knocked a third of the stars down to earth
He stood in front of the woman who was giving birth
ready to devour the child the moment it was born
she had a son who would rule all nations the earth

her son was snatched up to God and His throne
God prepared a place in the desert for her to stay
she fled into the desert and remained many days
war between Michael and the dragon was on the way

Michael and his angels fought the dragon and his angels
he lost his place in Heaven for he was not strong
the dragon called the devil was hurled to earth
this devil would lead man astray to do things wrong

Then I heard a loud voice in Heaven began to say
now comes God's Kingdom and salvation too
for God's accuser has been hurled down to earth
overcome him by the blood of the lamb for you

Rejoice all heavens and you who dwell within them
but woe to the earth and to the sea down below
for the devil has come down to you with such fury
his time will be short on earth, this he does know

The dragon searched for the woman who gave birth
but God gave her two wings of eagles to fly away
she was safe in the desert beyond the serpents reach
a river spewed from his mouth flowing her way

Earth helped the woman by swallowing the river
enraged the dragon made war against her offspring
and against those who obey God's commandments
and hold the testimony that Jesus shall bring
