If you love me and then obey what I command
the Father will give another Counsel to you
forever you will have the Holy Spirit of truth
you will know this Spirit in all that you do
The world can not see Him or hear Him
for they cannot accept Him in their heart
but you know He lives within you now
He will never leave you, nor will He depart
Before long the world will not see me anymore
but you will live because I live within you too
and because I live, you shall live
I am in my Father,you are in me, I am in you
The ones who obeys my commands loves me
those who love me are loved by my Father too
and I too shall love all those that love me
I shall also reveal myself to all of you
Then Judas said, "Why do you reveal yourself
to us and not for the whole world to see"
Jesus said, "If you love me obey my teachings
my Father will come and make a home with Thee"
If you don't love me, you will not obey me
these words are my Father's, not mine at all
I have spoken all this while still here with you
soon the Counsel and the Holy Spirit will call
My Father sends them in my name to teach you
he teaches and reminds you of all I have taught
peace I shall leave you and my peace I give
may hearts not be troubled and fears be naught
I am going away and coming back to you
and be glad for the Father is greater then I
I tell you before it happens so you believe
I will not speak much longer before my good by
For the prince of the world is coming
He has no hold on me but the world must see
I love the Father and I obey His command
"come now, let us leave", He said to me

Oh Sandy...this is so good. The Lord has really been talking to me lately about walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh. This scripture is so full of promise and hope and love and faith. We can walk in the Spirit because Jesus loves us so much He died so the Comforter could come and dwell in us. The reality of all He did is so great. Thank you for this poem. i needed to read this , at times my own will is so defiant, and i forget to trust in God's plan for me. lovely lovely poetry inspired by the greatest book of all time.
